Therizinosaurus: Crazy-clawed and long-necked lizard

0

Scientists have had to make a lot of assumptions about Therizinosaurus, as only a few bone fragments have ever been found. For example; they have never found a skull, so have used what they know about other dinosaurs of the theropod suborder to predict that it was a herbivore. They have found fossilized arms which is why they can be so specific about the length and shape of its long claws. Putting this dinosaur together was a bit like trying to do a jigsaw puzzle without the box and with half the pieces missing!
